When this all started we were parents to an active two year old, and  were constantly in the garage building toys and activities for our son, Owen.  We mostly built simple toys that encourage outdoor play and an active imagination. As we made more of these classic games and received feedback from play dates, it was clear that simple toys lead to endless possibilities. So we created Owen’s Adventures, an Etsy store featuring toys our son loves to play with and Mom and Dad love making.

And now we are here, writing a blog and sharing our journey. We’re very lucky to now be parents to two active boys, Owen and Michael, and continue to enjoy rediscovering the joy of simple toys through their eyes.
